I really thought the author had a story that would take us further into how Max and Olivia was sharing their lives together after the wedding and new baby. I was surprised she just dived into the story of how the two married and had a child. It was interesting but I enjoyed the story anyway. I should have known it was nothing more due to the price of the book. I really enjoyed the series of Olivia and Max, i came across this story by accident but was intrigued and hope that Kate Dawes will continue to bring her readers more enjoyable and gratifying stories in the future.

I reread the first three books, well skimmed thru them, but I needed to refresh my mind since I've read the desk long ago.
I really enjoyed this book, as I did the entire series. Great story and wonderfully written.
I liked this ending but felt there was more that could have been told in the story. Olivia and Max joined their personal and professional but there were gaps and questions that could have revealed more. It ended with their happiness, and love for each other as a family.
I don't know exactly why as I read a ton - Like 8 books a week - yes that makes me a geek... But this is my FAVORITE SERIES!!! I have tons of series and I basically love them all but this one is truly my favorite! I hope you pick it up and love it too!!! Cause its hot, sexy, fun, sensitive and just the best!
I was having severe Max & Olivia withdrawals after what we all thought was the end of the Fade series and then Kate surprised us with this final installment to an incredible story about an incredible couple. I loved how this story gave us more insight into Max's past and showed just how much Olivia was needed as his future. Once again, Ms. Dawes did not disappoint and I cannot wait to see what she will come up with next.
The first three in the Fade series were short stories and could be one book. I went back and re-read all three before reading this fourth one. I like the fourth one the best as the story has much more substance than the three prior combined. Max and Olivia both have baggage and although each wants to trust the other, this comes slowly, even during the fourth book. I will be reading this one again as the characters drew me in!
I did enjoy most of the book. I loved the Max & Olivia story but I thought that it was rushed at the end. I loved the way they turned into this wonderful couple and fell so in love with each other. The first 3 books were so erotic and this one was much less. It almost felt like they took a break from the passion that they felt before she worked for him. Like a role reversal of Alpha characters. I did like it but not as much as book 1,2 & 3.
This book wasn't terrible....but it's wasn't awesome either. It was just okay. It began wrong in my opinion. Based on the epilogue of the third book, Fade into Always, I expected this story would've picked up from there or later in their future together instead of from her incident with Chris. Then there was an error in regards to the BMW X5 SUV they drove to his mother's house, FYI Kate Dawes this vehicle is NOT a convertible so how were Max and Liv riding with the top down with Liv's hair whipping in the wind? It may not seem like a big deal but mistakes like this gets under my skin because a simple Google search could have corrected this.
